The App needs access to your precise location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION) to enable new features that query the names of nearby WiFi networks. This requirement was introduced in a recent Android SDK update.
Your precise location is only used locally on your device to retrieve nearby WiFi network names and the connection status of the current WiFi network. It is not stored or transmitted externally.
The App needs access to your location while running in the background (ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION) to enable automatic login. This allows the App to detect changes in WiFi networks and log you in without needing to open the App directly.
Your location is only temporarily accessed in the background to check for WiFi network changes for the purpose of automatic login. It is never stored or transmitted off your device.
We will only access your location indirectly when you device connect to WiFi. If at any time you change your mind and no longer consent, you can disable location access for the App through your device settings. This will limit certain App features that rely on location services.
